On-wall design – ideal next to a flatscreen TV
At just 61mm thick, the Klipsch RP-640D speakers intrude into your room as little as possible. They make the perfect partner for flatscreen TVs and are idea for when in-wall speakers are impractical (such as in solid stone walls). For added flexibility, they can be mounted vertically or horizontally.

Klipsch’s Reference Premiere Designer on-wall speaker is ideally suited to a wide range of installations. From a simple stereo set-up, with speakers either side of the TV to a full, multi-channel surround sound system, the RP-640D’s are flexible enough to grow with your system. Their sound is also perfectly tuned to match the rest of the RP series, giving you wide choice of other Klipsch speakers to match them with.
Powerful sound
Using twin Cerametallic woofers and quad passive radiators, the RP-640Ds pack quite a punch – especially for such slim speakers. The copper-spun woofer units are light and rigid, making them fast to respond to explosive soundtracks and dynamic music.
Horn-loaded tweeter for clarity
World famous for their horn-loaded treble units, the RP-640D carries on the tradition with its Tractrix horn tweeter surround. Matched with the titanium dome tweeter, this gives the speaker a clear, spacious sound.
Use with any amp – ultra-efficient design
A very high efficiency rating of 94dB makes it possible to use this speaker with almost any amp. Ideal for use with lower powered multichannel amps, the RP-640D produces high volumes from modest volume settings.
