With Clear Phase Speaker technology, dialogue is crisp and easy to follow. The S-Master amplifier means it can fill a larger room with sound, too. To get the best out of the TV there're also both digital (optical) and analogue (3.5mm via headphone output) audio outputs, for connection to a soundbar or base.

Lack of pre-loaded apps
The TV itself is excellent, but I am disappointed with the lack of pre-loaded apps, eg why no All4, ITVhub or My5 which are all on my other Sony.

Although Sony produce great TV’s, my real only criticism at present is the lack of sound quality. This wasn’t something I thought about before buying it, but would urge people to consider in the future. 5w + 5w of audio is not enough, even in a small room. It takes too long to adjust, going from 10 barely hear it to mid 30’s before it’s good enough for watching normal tv. No idea what’s needed for a good action film yet. It’s fine probably in a block of flats where you can’t turn up the volume without upsetting your neighbours.

I bought this TV in 2017 and I am very pleased with it, the picture quality is excellent, the sound is great and it still as good as when I bought it, I can't fault it.
