Two inputs – each with three settings
If you’re a huge vinyl fan, with multiple turntables, then the Leema Agena phonostage is just for you. With twin inputs, each with three selectable settings, you can set the phonostage up for six different cartridges – perfect if you enjoy swapping between different cartridges. You might, for example, have a DJ mixing cartridge, 78rpm cartridge and an MM and MC – all of which are easily accommodated by the Agena.
Real-time adjustment
Not content with offering six cartridge presets, the Agena lets you precisely adjust each of them, in real-time. This means you can hear the difference as you make it – something that’s not possible with ‘lid-off’, pluggable filter designs.
Filter settings for sound tuning
Taking the sound tuning further still, the Agena features both High Cut and Low Cut filters, letting you compensate for warped discs and distorted recordings. A Mono switch is provided for 78s and older, mono recordings.
Digital outputs
Featuring a coaxial digital output, you can connect this phono pre-amp directly to a digital amp, AVR or recorder. The USB-B digital output makes this the ideal choice for archiving your precious vinyl collection to your PC.
XLR balanced outputs
Paired with the RCA phono output sockets are a set of XLR balanced outputs. When used with a compatible amplifier, such as the many of Leema’s own range, these connections give the ultimate analogue link possible, with greatly improved resistance to interference.
Monitoring function
As well as XLR and RCA phono outputs, the Agena also has a monitoring output. This lets you hear the music through your system while simultaneously recording to your PC or other recording device.
