As part of the award-winning R90 HT1 home cinema speaker package, the Radius 200 has a superb reputation for home cinema excellence. With so much of a film's soundtrack coming through the centre speaker it's of the utmost importance to use a quality speaker.

The latest Radius centre speaker comes with a gold C-CAM dome tweeter. This gives the ideal balance between detail and smoothness. Upper frequencies stay clear and uncongested - even at high volume levels where inferior designs begin to distort. Although compact, the powerful C-CAM woofers used in the Radius 200 punch well beyond their weight, giving soundtracks real bite. The crisp, 'open' sound is also ideal for being able to clearly hear dialogue.
Riffled port for controlled bass
To boost the bass, the Radius 200 speaker is fitted with a rear bass port. The innovative HiVe II port design features riffled grooves to help reduce air turbulence. It's this that helps give the Radius 200 a sound that's both fast and powerful.

Great addition to 5.1.2 setup on a Sony STR DH790
Slowly building a good sound system on a budget.

Recently upgraded the center channel to the setup as I read that the center speaker is where to start when beginning to upgrade the speakers.
The center channel sits on a shelf above the fireplace which is 16cm depth. The Monitor Audio Radius 200 had the right measurements (14cm depth) for it to fit perfectly on the shelf.
The room size is approx 3.6m x 3.6m, so I don't need anything too overkill.
Since I purchased the Sony STR DH790, because I am on a tight budget, I have been using an old pair of 5.1 speakers. Creative's Gigaworks G500 to be exact.
They work pretty well. I had to upgrade the sub to a Yamaha NSS W050 as the Creative one wasn't compatible with the amp.
Upgrading to the Monitor Audio Radius 200 center speaker is like an audio veil has been lifted. The detail is really welcoming. Clear, crisp sound. Very happy with the purchase and upgrade I made.

Another World!
I bought this centre speaker a few weeks ago to replace an existing one from a different manufacturer. It immediately transformed the sound from my old receiver and added clearer vocals and amazing explosions. The build quality is second to none, so much so I will be adding the front and rear speakers very soon.

Good sound, speech is very clear, has good range.
In the time I've has this central speaker I've tried to listen to a wide range of music, so I could see how the speaker performed, and I've not been disappointed.
I would highly recommend this speaker.

Excellent Product
Setup with Radius 45 x4 and Tannoy subwoofer. Great build qualiity. Sits nearly below TV. Fairly discrete in walnut colour. If you need to go small and discrete this is s best buy.

Clear vocals
Had this for a couple of weeks and it has made a big improvement to film nights, loud or quiet you can hear what people are saying and the finish of this speaker is vety nice too.

Great clarity and sound for size
This fit the space I had in the TV cabinet well and sounds great with my Kef Q1 front L/R channels. Great for movies and games. Needed to boost the center level a couple of decibels via the amp, but was expected due to its comparatively diminutive size. Replaced a Kef Egg 2005 that was starting to buzz at certain frequencies.

Rich sound
This has been made and finished to a very high standard and matches my furniture perfectly. The rich sound that this produces has certainly upgraded my surround sound system although a bit expensive - it has been worth it !
