The Cyrus Stream-XR delivers the perfect combination of class-leading sound quality and fully featured versatility. Using the second generation QXR DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor), the Stream-XR produces sensational resolution and plays HiRes lossless music right up to 24-bit/192kHz. Utilising the renowned BluOS operating system, it also delivers seamless streaming from all types of services, including favourites such as Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer and many more. Compatible with AirPlay 2, Roon Ready and MQA decoding, the Stream-XR is a highly versatile streamer.

The Stream-XR features the second generation of Cyrus’s award-winning QXR DAC. Based around the reference quality ESS ES9038Q2M chipset, Cyrus analysed every component and tuned the DAC to achieve the best possible performance within its application. The result is incredible accuracy and precision that’ll reveal layers of music previously unheard.
High Resolution sound
The Stream-XR accepts a wide range of file types, including AAC, MP3, WMA, and AIFF. It will also stream high-resolution FLAC and WAV files at up to 192 kHz/24bit - that's better than CD quality. Now you can access all your stored music, effortlessly and in true hi-fi quality.
BluOS streaming flexibility
With Bluesound technology on board, the Cyrus Stream-XR delivers a vast range of streaming potential. Connect up via wi-fi or Ethernet and use the award-winning BluOS app (available free for iOS and Android devices) to stream all your favourite streaming services, Internet radio and your own stored music – all from a single control point. If you’d prefer, you can even use Siri voice control. You can also go multi-room, with a wide range of compatible Roon or Bluesound-based products on the market to link up to.

With the BluOS streaming system, you’re not stuck with a single operating system. Full control is possible with Apple iOS (iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad) and Android smartphones and tablet. Desktop control is also possible via Windows Vista 7, 8, 10 and Apple macOS 10.10-10.15 and 11.
Upgrade your existing components

Connectivity gets even better if you have a Cyrus system, as the Stream-XR uses the MC BUS system, letting you use a single remote to control the entire system.
PSU-XR port for the next step-up
As good as the Stream-XR is, it can be made better still by adding a PSU-XR power supply. Over the past three decades, Cyrus’s famous PSX power supplies have been a ‘must have’ upgrade, and the latest PSU-XR is no different. Adding a PSU-XR provides five separate power supplies. Amongst other sections, the individual power supplies take over the DAC and network card power supplies, creating a more stable supply for reduced distortion.
