The FiiO R7 makes a superb starting point for a top quality desktop hi-fi system. Combining a transmitter, decoder, headphone amp, DAC and media player in one, you simply need to add headphones or active speakers to enjoy a plethora of Hi-Res music.
Android based operating system
Featuring an Android based operating system, controlling the R7 is much like using an Android Smartphone. Download apps via the Google Play store and you’ve got access to a vast range of top quality streaming services (subscriptions may apply).
AirPlay support
If you prefer the Apple ecosystem, then you can simply take advantage of the R7’s AirPlay support. With your iOS wirelessly connected you get to directly stream files, controlled via your Apple iPhone, iPad or other compatible Apple device.

The Fiio R7 supports a wide range of inputs. These include optical and coaxial sockets that are ideal for sources such as a games console, TV or CD player. A USB host is perfect for connecting to your USB media device and streaming files. A micro-SD slot supports music files from cards with up to 2TB storage – enough for a vast collection of Hi-Res Audio music.

With its USB 3.0 Type-C connection and high quality ES9068AS convertor, the R7 also makes a great standalone DAC for your computer. Much better than most PC soundcards, the R7 offers a great boost to your computer’s sound quality.
Dual-mode Bluetooth support
Ideal for use with your Bluetooth headphones, the R7 is compatible with a wide range of high quality Bluetooth codecs, including LDAC, aptX and aptX HD. The high quality Bluetooth 5 system also supports receiving Bluetooth signals via SBC and LDAC codecs.
Output to any system
With its wide range of outputs, the R7 connects to just about any existing system or pair of active speakers. RCA line outputs provide a connection to the vast majority of devices. For digital AVRs and amps, there are also optical and coaxial digital outputs. Fantastic streaming machine
I have had this now for a couple of weeks, it is a fantastic piece of equipment, it is easy to set up both wifi and blue tooth. You can download all sorts of media, I use it mainly to listen to music, I have downloaded Qobuz music streaming app it is far superior to Spotify. I highly recommend this product.
