Another step along the WiiM spectrum
I was using a WiiM Mini with free Spotify with no issue, but then I subscribed to Apple Music and discovered that the Apple streaming service was prone to pausing/freezing quite often. Annoyingly often, to be fair. I wondered if Ethernet might help with stability, so bought the WiiM Pro which has that option. Sadly the wired connection failed to solve the problem with Apple Music, but that’s not the WiiM’s fault - it sounds great, it looks good on the rack, and the accompanying app is excellent.

Great value streamer
I’ve been using now for 2 weeks and can’t fault my new Wiim. Set up was easy and playback through Spotify connect is simple. The sound is a nice step up from streaming via Bluetooth

Easy to setup and sounds great.
Seamless connection to an old but very good active speaker, so glad I bought this magic box! Chose this over the Pro Plus after reading reviews (+ more expensive for not much difference) Apple Airplay, Bluetooth, WiFi all sound good - takes some volume level adjustment for different sources. My mp3 library sounds just as good through Wifi as wired connection. Fantastic piece of kit - now thinking of getting another one for old Naim for multi-room listening.

Promised exactly what i wanted & delivered.
Picked up this beauty & just set it up to stream music from my Mac music library to the Hi-Fi via the amp, have to say being a born sceptic it really is straight forward as promised to install & does exactly what was stated.
So far playing around with the app i can't find fault with it & seems to cover most bases, the airplay 2 appears very stable & intuitive with the Mac so all in all i'm a happy customer.

Great value for money
I bought my WiiM Pro in November and after several months using it pretty much daily I'm happy to say it was a fantastic purchase. Easy to set up and use, the sound quality is superb and the connection (via 5GHz WiFi) has been rock solid. The app is well designed, and (to my pleasant surprise) the developers are responsive to feedback. I had a problem with a minor bug in the app and my complaint was answered within 24 hours and the bug was fixed a few days after that. Impressive. I mainly use Qobuz and Spotify for streaming but the internet radio offering is also excellent. Great value for money.
