Award-winner made better
Over the past half-decade, the Clearway has won countless awards for its class-leading performance. The latest ‘X’ version uses high performance XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene) insulation. This replaces the previous PVC and is as fitted to Chord Company’s high-end cables. XLPE outperforms other materials in Chord’s listening tests and offers superior insulation for reduced interference – giving a smoother, more natural sound with enhanced detail.

High quality shielding

Disappointing cable with Cambridge
I’ve just took this cable home as a replacement for
QED XT40i, if you’ve got a CXA Cambridge amp
Forget it and go for the QED, it’s like I’ve exchanged for door bell wire, with a pair of Oberon 5s, the sound stage and sweet trebles have completely disappeared, it’s a dead and harsh with nothing to talk about, and costs £7 more a metre, final verdict is
Expensive fancy looking on the outside cable that doesn’t deliver with this amp and speakers, I will return to QED

Great looking and decent quality for the money.
I received a voucher worth £100 to spend on cables and plugs after buying my EVO 4.2's.
I told Charlie in the shop that I didn't have a clue what to buy with the voucher and told him to just give me what he thought was the best for the money.
When I came back to collect them I was shocked at the build quality of them! They just scream high end to you. They are quite chunky looking where I was used to just bog standard thin cables before.
Sound quality is great as to be expected.

Great service
Went in store to get cables cut for my speakers. The friendly store attendant cut my cables, attached trousers and plugs and had them ready for me in about 30 mins. Great service, just a shame quality cables are so expensive but that's not their fault!
