Technics CD/Streamer and speakers to suit.
With fantastic help and a sound check i now know system i want for my extension. Waiting till its finishe buy then. Bought cables for other speakers very happy. The help given from Simon and Stephen both steered me in right direction.

The finishing touch
I bought these banana plugs to go with a pre loved Denon dm41 mini hifi also purchased from the Bournemouth store , to go into my man cave ( garden shed )
The ease of fitting to thicker speaker cables was straightforward giving me many years of musical enjoyment
Well done to Oscar for product knowledge , understanding and no hard sell
I shall be returning to purchase more in the near future

Fantastic shop, fantastic team, fantastic service.
What a fantastic team in the Stockport branch. I went in to buy new cables and connectors, got slightly upsold, and so glad I did. The Hifi sounds simply amazing! What really did it for me though, was the service I received. Not only were the team friendly and knowledgable, but the Assistant Manager offered to cut the cables and fit the banana plugs and shawline trousers for me there and then. Very, very much appreciated. In a day and age where we have online giants taking over everything, it's nice to have real shops, run by real people who love what they do, with fantastic customer service. Thanks guys. Awesome stuff!!!

An effective solution to a problem
I bought these to allow simple speaker swapping and comparison between the Cyrus amp I've had for several years and a Cambridge Audio EVO 75 I'm evaluating. The EVO speaker connections have simple 4mm sockets in binding posts like most amps, but the Cyrus has the relatively rare BFA - incompatible, and frankly very annoying - BFA connectors. Fortunately Chord Company make these dual-purpose connectors which are tubular, and can fit both types: the outside surface makes the connection in standard 4mm sockets, and the centre tube fits the pin in the BFA connectors. They're well-designed in other respects, and well-made, and when in place they work admirably. I've only given then 4 stars because it's remarkably difficult to align them with the BFA pins accurately enough to be pushed in place when you're leaning over an amplifier and can't really see what you're doing.

Very Happy
The store advised me that this cable would be the best option within my budget to complement the system that I was putting together, and so far, I haven't been disappointed. It is sturdy and well-insulated, delivering a clear and vibrant sound signal to my Q Acoustics 3050i speakers. Very happy.
