At Richer Sounds we love spec sheets and product reviews, but nothing beats listening to undiscovered details on your favourite album, like the sound of fingers sliding down guitar strings.

This is why all our stores have dedicated, private rooms where you can demo your favourite products with your beloved music and films. Our colleagues will happily help you get the best set-up for your needs.

All of our Experience Rooms are kitted out with the latest TV and projection technology, as well as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for full, truly three-dimensional sound. Some stores feature a few additional components that can make a huge difference to the way you enjoy your favourite content.

Projector & screen

For the ultimate immersive cinematic experience - just like going to the cinema – a projector can produce native 4K images as big as 300”. In combination with your speaker system, you will feel like you are in the middle of the action.

Acoustic room treatment

Acoustic treatments reduce undesirable resonances, such as overly boomy bass, and minimise reverberation and help isolate the sound from the rest of your home. They will not only give you the best sound quality, but they also add visual interest and match your décor.

Cinema seating

No cinema room would be complete if we didn’t include the perfect seats, entirely bespoke to your room - loveseats, curved or straight rows and even staged seating. These reclining seats are big and comfortable and, of course, have cupholders to keep your drinks close to you.

Starscape ceiling

If you are looking for the ultimate wow factor, Starscape ceilings use tiny fibre optic lights to recreate the sky at night – you can even replicate your favourite constellations. These are fantastic at giving the impression of infinite height in rooms with lower ceilings.

Control 4 automation

Your universal remote, but better. It consists of a very user-friendly interface that allows you to control anything from the volume on your TV or dimming your lights to automating your blinds and integrating with your CCTV. All with the single press of a button.

Media rooms

Our media rooms are designed to integrate into a multipurpose room within your home, typically a living room. Custom cabinetry, screens that blend with, and concealed speakers are often used to create a seamless look that integrates with the rest of your space and home.

Cinema rooms

These Experience Rooms are built to showcase a room fully dedicated to entertainment. Featuring luxurious recliner cinema seats, LED lighting, star ceilings, acoustic panelling and automated control, they give you the ultimate cinema experience at home.
