Argon Audio Malmö Sub 8 and Sub 10

Argon Audio have issued a safety notice regarding the two models above. Although the risk of any serious issue caused by the potential wiring problem Argon has discovered is unlikely, it’s theoretically possible so as such Argon has recommended getting the product checked by Richer Sounds.

Check products serial number.
Customers can check whether their subwoofer is affected by checking the serial number on the back panel of the subwoofer.

Serial numbers potentially affected on Malmö Sub 8 include all units with a serial number higher than SONMB8XX25330000 but below SONMB8XX2680101 and on Malmö Sub 10, all units with a serial number higher than SONMB10XX2 5330000 but below SONMB10XX26 190101

If your serial number is affected, turn the subwoofer off and pull out the power cord from the plug socket. Do not use the subwoofer until it has been checked. Take your subwoofer to your nearest Richer Sounds and we will ensure your sub is carefully checked free of charge.

Please note: All Argon Audio Malmö Sub 8 and Sub 10 sold from 05 May have been checked and are free of any wiring issues as described by Argon Audio.
