The famous C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter now has a new Uniform Dispersion Waveguide II. This is designed to give a more natural and lifelike sound, with less distortion. The powerful 8" woofer cone features the latest version of Monitor Audio’s distinctive RST (Rigid Surface Technology). Inspired by the Japanese art of Origami, RST II uses lightweight cones that are made more rigid by complex surface pressings. The result is sound that’s fast to respond and that gives a powerful sense of rhythm.

Outstanding !!!
I have just had these delivered and almost burst into tears when I heard them in my own home! They are outstanding in my 16x12 room, delivering a realistic but powerful bass out of such small cabinets. Treble is what you would expect from the wonderful tweeters used by M.A., but most of all the spatial imagery, openness of the soundstage and tightness of every note. Coupled with my Cambridge amp & CD and my Roksan turntable, these are the speakers I needed to complete my system.
It is many years since I owned hifi that was this good. They are brilliant value and deliver on every check box on my list

Best speakers I have ever heard!
For those who want high quality and clarity at a price that is not too cheap or too expensive, you cannot go wrong with these speakers. Why risk going down the AMT road (a marmite component) or paying a lot more when MA Silver 100 7g’s are so good. I’m running these from a Bluesound Powernode, to which I have added a KEF subwoofer salvaged from my old KEF T305 surround system. Music is streamed from my IPad Pro, either using a NAS drive or from a directly attached SDD.I cannot believe how great the MA Silver’s sound, even before burn in is complete. Treble is crisp and appealing without becoming too bright, mid range comes across as warm and revealing, and the bass is firm as Tyson Fury’s handshake. For those wondering, the bass without the KEF subwoofer also sounds excellent. The reason for adding the sub is to ‘farm out’ the lower range to it, leaving the MA Silver’s more room for upper bass and mid range. As for volume, I’m using these in a medium to large sized lounge, seated about 8ft away and with the speakers base around 22 inches off the floor and around 18 inches out from the rear wall. Port bungs are not necessary.

WOW! - I Upgraded! - Finally..... from Monitor Audio Bronze to Silver. (now that circumstances and finances allow.....) WOW! I am so very VERY pleased! Don't get me wrong, the bronzes are absolutely fantastic. But, The Silvers are ABSOLUTLELY SUPER Fantastic!.......... I popped out the speaker connects from the Bronzes to the Silvers. Fired it all up........... And I was met by a jaw dropping knock-out wall of superb sound...... WOW! ....... Big Heavy Solid Weighty Speakers Projecting Quality that I have never heard before.......... WOW!................... Beautiful magnetic covers with no pop-in complications (is it only Monitor Audio that are doing this?)........ Absolutely Recommend Silvers! Get the Bronzes (for now) unless you can afford the Silvers. Go for it! You will not be disappointed!....... Bronzes are excellent, Silvers are Super Excellent!!!!!!!

Big thanks to Joe from Tunbridge Wells branch for recommending these speakers to me in combination with Cambridge Audio CXA81 amplifier. These are truly spectacular speakers, they need recommended 100 - 200 hours of breaking in to get them to sound their best. Vocals, instruments, EDM, techno, jazz, rock, everything sounds beautiful. Fantastic all rounders with warm sound, beautiful & powerful. Just feed them lots of good music and enjoy! Very limited reviews on these out there, which is a real shame because more people should give these speakers a try. Thanks again Joe, you set me on my audiophile journey
