Inspired by the Japanese art of Origami, RST II uses lightweight cones that are made more rigid by complex surface pressings. Great update to my system, perfect choice
These replaced my KEF iQ5SE and I could not be happier. They sound warm and yet crisp and balanced all at the same time and deliver a much more powerful and transparent bass then the KEFs

We visited MK store and had a great experience. Lots of technical knowledge alongside stock awareness. We also got an extra deal through overall package spend, which would not have been negotiable online. Definitely recommend a store visit. Quality stock and also more affordable options.

Much richer sounds
After previously owning some Monitor Audio Bronze 2 speakers and really enjoying their sound for many years I decided to upgrade to Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G speakers.
I had read that they were nice sounding speakers and even though I hadn’t tested any, I bought them on the strength of how well the bronze speakers had served me along with advice and opinions from some of the RS sales team in Chester.
I use a Marantz PM7000 network amp with these speakers and I am delighted with the sound. It is a noticeable step up from the bronze speakers. There is much more clarity and detail is exposed. Bass is powerful, tight and doesn’t boom. The volume can be cranked up without distortion and clarity is maintained.
Hearing my music both digital and analogue through these speakers just makes me want to revisit albums I own and fall in love with them all over again as I hear things I haven’t heard before. The slight cymbal taps, the detail in the vocal, the deep bass notes that hadn’t been reproduced faithfully enough for me to know they were there previously. These speakers are just a joy to listen to. I do tend to like brighter tones though, so if you aren’t a lover of treble and your amp doesn’t have tone controls then maybe audition them first, otherwise I wholeheartedly recommend these speakers.
They sound great, look great (without the mesh grille on) and are beautifully built. Great quality.

the best choice I made
I was researching and checking different speakers from a half year already. Then in Richer Sounds service team allowed to me listen few different speakers. The warm and cosy sound I found checking Monitor Audio Silver 100 (7G). I'm playing music from vinyl records and using old turntable Dual. The music sounds clear, warm and very cosy and you don't turn it off at all. Fully recommended!
