BenQ’s exclusive Golf Mode is specifically designed to present the most realistic colours for indoor golfers. Working with top golf course designers, BenQ has sought to replicate the different grasses and typical cloudscapes from courses around the world. Thanks to its laser light source, the AK700ST delivers 4000 lumens of brightness and high contrast. This means that you don’t need to be in a pitch dark environment for the image to ‘pop.’ Even with the lights on or ambient light coming through the windows, the image remains clear and strong in contrast. In darker rooms, the contrast becomes even sharper, and the colour is at its most vivid.

Switch between formats for movie playback
With such a high quality image, the AK700ST also makes a great projector for playing movies. While the golf simulator works at an aspect ratio of 16:10 and movies/streaming are 16:9, you can switch ratios at the press of a button, so there’s no need for complex menu changes. A 120 inch image is available with the projector just 1.8 – 2.2m from the screen, while the largest 200 inch screen size requires a distance of 3.0 – 3.7 metres.

Curved screen option for next level game play
For the most advanced golf simulator, the AK700ST is compatible with a curved screen setup. The projector supports image warping for curved screens, with four selectable matrix options (5x3 / 10x5 / 15x9 / 24x15). Curved screens deliver a more immersive experience, with a greater sense of depth.
