They’ve been designed to sound as neutral as possible, making them the perfect choice for editing and analysing music on. Acoustic Room Compensation ensures the best possible sound in your space. Designed for a natural, flat response
The MR3 speakers have a flat frequency response, letting you hear every element of the recording. The two-way design features silk dome tweeters for a smooth yet detailed response. The 3.5 inch woofers are fast to respond and perfect for near field listening. To ensure low levels of cabinet resonance, solid MDF construction is used.
Hi-Res Audio certified
Both the analogue audio components and Class D amplifier are sourced from Texas Instruments and are configured to work at 24bit/96kHz. This means that you get bit-perfect Hi-Res Audio conversion and amplification, for the most detailed and least distorted sound possible.
Acoustic room compensation
For the ideal sound in your room, a range of manual and app-based acoustic tuning options are available. On the speaker itself, High and Low controls let you cut or boost the frequency response at the top and bottom ends. On the ConneX app, Low Cutoff attenuates the bass to suit your room. Acoustic Space compensates for mid and bass boosts to suit speaker placement. Desktop Control compensates for desktop reflections.
Rich connectivity
For easy, wireless connectivity, simply pair your smartphone or laptop via Bluetooth V5.4. Wired connections include Balanced TRS for connecting to a mixer and RCA phono for a wide range of other audio devices. There’s also a 3.5mm AUX input at the front and a handy headphone output for even closer monitoring.
Easy control, plus app
Designed for ease of use, a multi-function control dial on the front of one of the speakers powers the speakers on/off, adjusts the volume and selects the sound effects. The Edifier ConneX app allows for playback control when using Bluetooth, adjusts EQ and sound effect settings and adjusts the room compensation settings.
