Packed full of the latest tech, the FiiO S15 is a premium music streamer that’s all set to be at the heart of your system. Based around a customisable Android system, with support for AirPlay, Bluetooth and DLNA, it’s easy to wirelessly stream from your favourite music services and stored music. A wide range of sockets, including HDMI ARC, ensures that other sources can take advantage of the premium electronics too. Controlled via an automotive-grade touchscreen, accessing your entire digital music collection has rarely been so intuitive.
Easy streaming via Android-based operating system
Featuring an Android 12 based operating system, plus a custom landscape display, controlling the S15 is much like using an Android tablet. Download apps via the Google Play store and you’ve got access to a vast range of top quality streaming services (subscriptions may apply).
AirPlay, Roon Ready and DLNA support
If you prefer the Apple ecosystem, then you can simply take advantage of the S15’s AirPlay support. With your iOS wirelessly connected you get to directly stream files, controlled via your Apple iPhone, iPad or other compatible Apple device. You can also stream music content from other devices on your network using the DNLA protocol. As a Roon Ready device, you can also incorporate it within a multiroom, Hi-Res music streaming system.
Enhanced Bluetooth
With a Qualcomm Bluetooth QCC5125 chip at its heart, the system is compatible with top quality Bluetooth formats, such as aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and LDAC, for premium music file support.
Connect a wide range of other devices, including TV
Featuring an HDMI interface, the S15 is ideal for connecting to your TV and AV system. The HDMI ARC socket is perfect for connecting to your TV or AV system, while an HDMI input is ideal for a games console or other device. Other inputs include AES/EBU, optical and coaxial sockets that are ideal for sources such as a CD player. A USB host is perfect for connecting to your USB media device and streaming files. SSD and micro-SD slots support music files from cards with up to 2TB storage – enough for a vast collection of Hi-Res Audio music.

For the most precise, detailed sound, the S15 is packed with premium quality electronics. The PSU (Power Supply Unit) is located on a dedicated board and features a toroidal transformer and ELNA capacitors, supplying a smooth, consistent feed for low noise and dynamic sound. The S15 also features ACCUSILICON high-performance, ultra-low noise femtosecond oscillators. These effectively reduce the impact of phase noise, further improving the sonic precision.

At the heart of the S15 is AKM’s flagship DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) technology comprising two chips – the AK4191 and AK4499EX. It uses separate digital and analogue sections and enhanced signal routing for the highest possible signal to noise ratio. This promotes a quieter backdrop for sensational detail and realism. Put simply, this FiiO lets you hear details in your favourite music that you may never have heard before.
Intuitive control
The landscape, touchscreen display makes accessing the apps and settings you want easy. It also clearly displays track listings and supports visual effects, such as VU metres for a retro appeal. Other control options include FiiO’s companion app and a supplied Bluetooth remote that, unlike a conventional IR remote, doesn’t need to be within sight of the player for remote control.
Output to any system
With its wide range of outputs, the S15 connects to just about any existing system or pair of active speakers. RCA line outputs provide a connection to the vast majority of devices. For digital AVRs and amps, there are also AES/EBU, optical and coaxial digital outputs.
