”The new cone gives smoother and more subtle sound.” ‘Hi Fi Choice magazine’. Recommended.
Powerful, three-way performance
Using two drive units dedicated entirely to bass with a separate one for mid-range, the Focal Aria 926 has bass power to spare. Combined with the large floorstanding cabinet, it gives the Aria 926 the chance to do full justice to powerful RnB, large orchestral or stadium rock music. If you’re looking for a speaker that can effortlessly portray the entire music spectrum, then this is it.
Flax cones for a natural sound
Using Focal’s unique Flax cone material, the 926 also sounds smooth and natural. The dedicated mid-range unit lets vocals stand out from the mix and reproduces them exactly as the producer intended.
TNF tweeters for smooth precision
Developing Focal’s famous inverted style tweeter further, the TNF tweeters use aluminium and magnesium with Poron suspension for an exceptionally smooth yet detailed sound. Waveguides help create an accurate soundstage that makes it feel like the musicians are in the room.
Sleek curves for a room friendly style
Although the Aria 926 speakers stand over a metre tall, their smooth lines and luxury finish means they effortlessly blend with your decor. Ideally used in medium-sized rooms at a listening distance of around 3 metres, these speakers create a ‘wall of sound’.
Front ported for flexible positioning
By placing the bass port at the front rather than the rear of the cabinet, the Aria 926s can be placed closer to the rear wall without losing out too much on sound quality. Focal have also provided adjustable plinths with these speakers. By attaching spikes, this lets you get exactly the right degree of ‘tilt’ for the most precise listening experience.
Highly recommended by the hi-fi press, these multi-award-winning speakers play it all.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sean9000 from Truly impressive sound Having spent a fortune in the past on upgrades (not at Richer Sounds) and being constantly disappointed, I have finally got the sound I have been looking for. The realism and imaging of these speakers is truly remarkable. Compared them with a pair costing half as much again (different manufacturer) but they didn't come close to the Focals. They give the airiness of expensive headphones with the solidity and scale that only floorstanders give. Powered by the Roksan K3 amp (also purchased from Richer), which is an ideal partner. Just the best service provided by Richer Sounds Maidstone. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Will be back for a Streamer soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Boyce1101 from Breath takingly good! Bought these around 2 weeks ago and its up there with the best purchases iv ever made, these speakers firstly are easy to drive, whilst intending to upgrade i only have these paired with a marantz pm6007, and they shocked me how loud and dominant these sounded with it, the presentation is spacious and clear, but not neutral, i would say these are on the north side of warm which is what i was looking for, but the best part i would say is there ability to deliver emotion within music which iv yet to find in other brands at this price range (in my opinion) they just have that goosebumps as the wife is always telling me and she sat and listened with me whilst picking them and we were both not leaving without them. The bass is big and controlled and its a good job were detatched when these are lit up, as a fairly new comer into the audiophile world these things have certainly got me hooked and cant wait to see what a new amp brings in the future!

Rated 5 out of 5 by adrian30 from Open up your ears and listen!! I bought this a week ago and the set up was simple enough. The dust caps were a bit tricky to remove on the Focal speakers but apart from that it was very much plain sailing. The set up for the streamer was very simple via StreamMagic and linking in Tidal was no issue at at all. So I soon was listening to my first track and I fully appreciate Nirvana is not an audiophile work of art it is something that resonates from my youth and something I had heard a million times before......or had I......instruments that I had never heard on previous tracks were suddenly appearing......wire brushes on the drums were clearly distinguishable where I had never heard this before.....suddenly the track was reaching a new level for me. The track had aged and got better as I would like to say had the new owner!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by D Mistlin from Sit back and enjoy When I auditioned these speakers, I was blown away by their clarity and power. Tracks I've been listening to for years suddenly got a whole lot better. I couldn't be happier with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lotusjoey1 from Consistently surprised by how good these sound After speaking with one of the guys from the Newcastle store about which speakers I was after, we narrowed it down to three different sets. The Monitor Audio Silver 300s, Dali Opticon 6s and the Focal Aria 926s. I went to Richer Sounds Newcastle to audition these with the expectation of buying the Monitor Audios as this would have been the natural upgrade from my previous speakers. During the audition we really put all three sets through their paces with a lot of different styles of music all driven by an Arcam SA30 to reflect my home system. The Aria on every occasion out shone the other two by a very very long way in almost every aspect. They were more detailed, more controlled, faster, larger more airy soundstage and more realistic sounding. The only place they were let down was in the very low end with some electronic music (London Grammar - Hey Now is my example) although the bass was there it became soft and quiet on those very low notes. I ended up taking buying the arias as the tradeoff of bass (since not that money songs go that low) was worth it and I have not looked back. I have had them for a few weeks now and they are run in well. They sound even better in my home, I have linked my AV sub (SVS 1000 SB pro) high pass filter to my 2ch amp and this has taken care of that low end. It is also worth noting I use the 926 as part of my AV setup along side the CC900 and 906 for rears. These are driven by a denon 3600 and arcam sa30 (fronts only). The improvement to films and TV is phenomenal. So much clearer and a much faster response in busy action scenes which means you can clearly hear what is going on. I very highly recommend adding these speakers to any audition within this price range. Thanks also to Anis for his time and patience in helping me make the correct decision with these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Edie23 from You can sit on the sofa all your life I bought these speakers two weeks ago. What should I say? I listen sometimes for eight hours a day, but this sound makes me forget everything. Paris has entered my room. Very good. My set - Tidal, bluesound node 2i, Kimber Kable, Denon PMA 1080R, Focal Aria 926.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joe75 from Best sounding speakers I've ever had! I've had these speakers for around 3 years now. But with all the different genres of music I've listened to on them, the sound quality and the clarity is just amazing! That said in order to get the perfect sound stage it takes a while in order to set them up properly and position them. They don't like walls and like to be kept at least 2 feet away to get the optimal sound. Ideally I'd say they could do with a bigger room than mine. Mine's 3 and a half metres by 5. Really I think they'd need a room of 25m2 in order to fully appreciate the full sound (not to mention the space). But for the price of £2000 you can't do better!
