Standing at the top of Graham Slee’s renowned phono pre-amp range, the Accession MM delivers astonishing sound quality and greatly improved versatility. With a volume control and fixed/variable outputs, it can be connected to a wide range of amplifier types. A wide range of adjustable EQs account for different ages of vinyl records and tastes, while capacitive loading ensures the best match with your MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge.

Although MM/MC phono pre-amps offer cartridge versatility, a carefully engineered phono pre-amp that’s fixed for either MM (Moving Magnet) or MC (Moving Coil) cartridges will always, price for price, sound better. The Accession MM is optimised for MM and high output cartridges, ensuring they reach their full dynamic potential.
Painstakingly engineered for the best sound possible
Every element of the Accession MM shows great attention to detail, all of which elevate the sound to flagship level. For the lowest possible interference, the Accession MM features stainless steel gaskets for a physical seal against electromagnetic disturbances. In the same cause, a solid ground plane board and multiple layers of radio frequency filtering are fitted.
Adjustable EQ
With older records (up to around the mid-’60s) American and British tone EQ settings could vary, which is why the Accession MM adapts to both types. It also has a mono switch, which lets you hear mono recordings at their most natural. For digital recording, or simply for personal taste, there’s also a switchable Flat/CA (Constant Amplitude) EQ setting.
Cartridge loading options
Fitted with four cartridge capacitive loading options, the Accession MM is suitable for a vast range of MM cartridges and can be fine-tuned to suit all tastes. Although the 100pf setting is usually ideal, 220pf, 320pf and ‘out’ settings let you tweak the loading to best suit your needs.
Versatile connectivity
A choice of variable and fixed outputs lets you connect to a wide range of different amplifier types. Use the fixed output to connect directly to your integrated or headphone amp. The variable output, with facia mounted volume control, makes the phono pre-amp suitable for connecting directly to a power amp, for a minimalist system with high impact sound.
Supplied with dedicated PSU1 power transformer
For optimal performance the Accession MM is supplied with the high-current Graham Slee PSU1 power supply. This higher spec power supply further reduces the noise floor, opening up the sound and improving the musical scale.
Ideal for pairing with the Elevator EXP
If you’re using an MC cartridge, or plan to in the future, the Accession MM is ideally paired with the Graham Slee Elevator EXP step-up amplifier.
