Z-Match impedance matching volume – the ideal balance for all headphones
Rather than using gain switches, the Ultra-Linear DE has a fixed amplifier gain for optimal results. Taking the place of sound-degrading switches, the Z-Match volume control matches different headphone impedances as you move it around the dial. This simple but effective solution optimises the sound from low impedance headphones for the first third of the dial, medium headphones the second, and high impedance headphones over the last sector.
