With its class-leading 3700 ANSI lumens brightness, the Optoma H185X makes the perfect projector for daytime viewing. Ideal for daytime sports events, gaming or simply an afternoon movie, this projector’s exceptional brightness means that you don’t need to close the curtains or blinds and turn the lights off for a bright, detailed picture.
Exceptional colour accuracy
Capable of reproducing the internationally recognised Rec.709 colour gamut, the Optoma H185X offers superb colour realism. Nature documentaries ‘pop’ from the screen with lifelike realism while movies have the cinematic colour palette as envisaged by the director. Meanwhile, the saturated colours from gaming and animation are reproduced with vivid intensity.
Smooth movie motion, with 24 fps
Further enhancing this Optoma’s movie playback ability, 24 fps (frames per second) is standard. This means that it replays films shot at 24 frames per second at the correct speed, without glitching - just like at the cinema.
Optional 3D
For an even more immersive picture, the H185X is ready for 3D. Just add optional, compatible Optima 3D glasses, connect up to a compatible source and enjoy truly immersive 3D vision.
Keystone correction for easier installation
Making the H185X a cinch to set up is Keystone correction. With the ability to digitally shift the image by +/- 40 degrees in the vertical plain, the unit fits tricky installations and enables a wider choice of screen options.
Connect a range of sources
A wide range of inputs lets you connect all sorts of sources, including legacy devices. For a games console or Blu-ray player there’s an HDMI input. Older PCs or laptops can be connected via the VGA input. For heritage DVD players or games consoles, there’s also a composite video input, meaning that none of your sources are left behind.
USB power – plug in Smart TV
Thanks to the built-in USB power outlet you can power your source device. Ideal for powering Smart TV dongles, such as the Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Roku or NOW TV, the H185X makes adding Smart TV an easy option.
