HPE enhanced for a purer sound
Unique to the 3050i model, HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer) technology reduces distortion. Larger speaker cabinets tend to build up pressure in specific areas, causing resonance and cabinet distortion. By equalising the pressure around the cabinet the pressure is reduced, giving a less distorted sound.
Improved cabinet bracing
Working alongside HPE is new P2P bracing. P2P (Point-to-Point) bracing is now deployed to enhance rigidity and further reduce cabinet distortion. Reducing cabinet distortion lets the drive units operate at their optimum, giving a cleaner, purer sound.
Revised drive units
With their newly developed surrounds, the bass units are even more accurate and faster to respond. The coated paper woofer cones are light, rigid, and helps give the 3050i’s their deep, punchy sound quality. The tweeter units are decoupled from the rest of the cabinet, meaning that the treble isn’t affected by vibration from the bass unit. With power and purity of sound at their heart, the 3050i’s are amongst the most dynamic sounding speakers in their class.
Twin woofers for a big sound with movies or music
The 3050i is a worthy flagship - with twin woofer units the bass depth and dynamics are effortlessly deep and powerful. Despite the exhilarating sound, they’re far from unrefined. Thanks to high quality components and clever design, they still have the same skill with extracting the finer subtleties of music. The big scale sound created by the 3050i’s also makes them ideal as the front speakers in a home cinema set. For a totally cohesive sound, simply add the matching 3000i-Series centre and satellite speakers.

Out of this world!
These replace my 2050i speakers and were well worth the change. More depth, bass and imaging. As always the price at Richer Sounds was to best out there. I feel I’ve got a bargain and a significant improvement. One other thing which is worthy of mention. These were a graphite factory order so was expecting a few days wait. Arrived the day after ordering! You can’t beat that. Very happy with my purchase and top class service from Richer Sounds. I never go anywhere else!

Amazingly Good - A real bargain
I have a system in my sitting room that is for TV sound & computer hifi. I had a pair of Tannoy D50s which sounded fine on music, but for tv speech they weren't as clear as I needed. I substituted a pair of Kef iQ30s which were clearer on speech, but a little hard/metallic on music, plus there was only upper bass (and sometimes a bit too much of it!).
Coincidently, I came across a review of the Q3050i in a 2018 copy of HiFi World where it said that they were clear, neutral, & had good bass for the size. Also said that they were a bargain at the price. I looked at Richer's web site, and discovered that they were a lot cheaper than the price quoted in 2018 !! So I ordered a pair. They only had them in graphite which I was a bit dubious about, but since seeing them "in the flesh" I think that graphite is better than the black or white options (don't know about the "walnut" option). It fits nicely into my décor anyway.
Sound Quality:
Maybe not 100% run in yet, but already the sound is very clear, amazingly neutral - the best of any box speaker I've heard - and does go deep for the size.
As they are flanking the tv, the speakers have to be quite near the wall and this sometimes gives slightly excessive bass, but they are provided with foam inserts for the rear port which restores the balance.
If you need a prominent treble or a peaky bass to liven up your music, these may not suit, but maybe give them a listen anyway, they are a very beguiling speaker.

Q acoustics 3050i loudspeakers
After hearing these speaker Q Acoustic 3050i at richersounds in Nottingham paired with the Cyrus one HD using my phone as a source Audio going through my Audioquest dragonfly Cobalt DAC amp in to the line input of the Cyrus one HD WOW just WOW
I was sold absolutely an awesome setup it's everything I was looking for.
Have to say richersounds know there stuff 100% definitely a look at if you looking to buy a new hifi system or home theatre system or just looking to upgrade.

Great floor mounted speakers
It has been a long time that I have needed to upgrade my 25 year old Linn speakers! I think it was worth the wait. These Q Acoustics sound great and my wife has eventually got used to the size!
