Featuring twin 6N2 valves in the signal output, the TCD-70T benefits from the fluid depth of sound that only valves can replicate. The ESS SABRE ES9018 32-bit DAC, with Hyperstream II architecture and jitter eliminator ensures that the signal is as clean and pristine as possible before it reaches the valve output stage. The combination ensures that the sound is crystal-clear, dynamic and detailed, as well as smooth-flowing and lifelike.
Enhanced engineering for ultra-low distortion
For the most precise and consistent sound possible, the TCD-70T also features a number of other innovative technologies. The Sunplus SPHE8104G Servo IC and Intelligent Correction optimises the laser reading, minimising tracking errors. A Bessel 2-pole filter maintains phase linearity, further minimising distortion.
Balanced outputs for system versatility
With both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA phono outputs, the TCD-70T connects to a wide range of systems. For the cleanest signal possible, use the XLR connections for pro-quality sound with a compatible amplifier. Both outputs are wired using OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) cabling for high signal purity.
Choice of digital outputs, plus headphone socket
Fitted with both optical and coaxial digital outputs, the TCD-70T connects with all types of digital amps, AVRs and DACs. For private listening, there’s also a headphone socket with dedicated volume control.
