As featured in its more expensive models, the U-ART tweeter delivers true high-end performance at a top value price. The ribbon tweeter provides pristine treble response right up to 25,000Hz. Well above our hearing range, this ensures the avoidance of harmonic distortion, meaning that the highest notes sound clean and uncompressed.
Spacious soundstaging
For a wide and spacious sound, the T5V uses HPS (High-frequency Propagation System) waveguides. Designed using computer modelling, the waveguides channel the top-end frequencies across as wide a soundstage as possible, extending the ‘sweet spot’, meaning that you don’t have to stay rooted in one spot to enjoy the full range of stereo imaging.
Tight, punchy bass
Featuring polypropylene bass drivers and bass reflex cabinet porting, the T5V’s deliver tight and tuneful bass. Ideal for nearfield monitoring the transparent-sounding drivers let you hear deep into the mix. For sound that’s tailored to your precise tastes, HF and LF switches let you adjust the treble and bass by +/- 2dB.
Total control from built-in amps
Individual Class D amplifiers ensure precise control of the separate drivers. Each woofer has a dedicated 50 watt amp, with 20 watt amps for each tweeter. With a built-in DSP (Digital Signal Processor), the music signal is kept under pinpoint control.
Choice of inputs
For wide-ranging compatibility, the T5V feature both XLR balanced and RCA phono inputs. Connect directly to your mixing desk or music source, then plug in each speaker to mains outlet and you’re good to go.
