Automatic Amplifier Matching Mode for optimal performance Plug in your headphones and the PD10 automatically detects the impedance and switches between the two amps for the ideal setting. Earphones with an impedance of 32ohm or less are set to Normal Gain, providing a maximum output of 5.5Vrms in Balanced, and earphones exceeding 32ohm are set to High Gain, providing ample output of up to 8.3Vrms based in Balanced output.
Dedicated circuits for balanced and unbalanced outputs For the best sound with both balanced and unbalanced headphone connections, the PD10 features dedicated audio circuits for both. Independent circuits negate the need for an audio switch, which can limit the signals potential quality. For the best in portable balanced connectivity, the PD10 features a 4.4mm output, alongside the 3.5mm single-ended socket.
From your pocket to a cradle Maximising the PD10’s full potential, it’s supplied with a cradle for home entertainment use. Once docked, the cradle connects directly to your compatible active speakers or amplifier via studio-quality XLR balanced outputs. The output level can be adjusted via the PD10’s volume or set at a fixed level. A USB-C input lets you charge the player simultaneously.
Stream your music Whether the player is docked or used on the move, there’s a wide range of streaming music potential to be enjoyed. Stream music from the built-in storage or connect via wi-fi or Bluetooth and integrate with other music playback devices using AirPlay or the BT sink function, which pairs with your music device and wirelessly streams music.
