The Super ARAY difference
Replacing the previous Tuned ARAY technology, Super ARAY takes cable tech to the next level. Super ARAY continues to address the earthing issues that can mask fine levels of detail. Where it goes further is in countering issues on the signal side. By minimising noise to the absolute lowest levels possible, you hear everything in incredible detail. What’s more, you don’t have to be listening in Hi-Res formats, either. Much of this technology’s development was done using CD, meaning every source you hear benefits from maximum detail retrieval and intensely musical sound.
Silver-plated conductors for superb detail
The Chord Company Signature Super ARAY Digital is made from the finest cable, helping it deliver the most lifelike and natural sound possible. Key to this is the use of twin 75 ohm, silver-plated conductors. These are shielded using PTFE insulation and high density combination silver-plated braid and foil, for ultimate noise rejection. The upshot is, if the sound’s on the recording, you’ll hear every nuance of it.
ChorAlloy plugs with zero compression strain relief
Using a multi-metal plating system, ChorAlloy plugs deliver the low resistance and high conductivity of silver-plating but without the longer term tarnishing issues, meaning that you get a long-lasting, low resistance connection. Zero compression strain reliefs between the plugs and cable avoids changes in impedance that can affect the sound quality.
