Ideal for desktop use, the Chord Electronics Suzi Pre is a high quality, super-compact pre-amp that works superbly within a Chord Electronics system but is versatile enough for other systems, too.
Phono and line level inputs
Although it takes up little more space than a smartphone, the Suzi Pre has a versatile selection of connections. There’s a MM/MC selectable input for your turntable and two RCA phono line level inputs that are ideal for connecting your CD, streamer or DAC. There’s also a phono pre-out for connecting directly to a Suzi Amp or other power amp / active speakers.
High quality phonostage
With experience from its Huei model, Chord Electronics have fitted the Suzi Pre with a high quality phono pre-amp. For universal compatibility, the Suzi Pre is switchable between MM (Moving Magnet) and MC (Moving Coil) cartridges. With adjustable gain and impedance-matching options, Suzi syncs precisely with your make and model of cartridge. Adjusting the settings gives the lowest levels of noise and most suitable gain.
Twin headphone outputs
If you’re simply using headphones, then the Suzi Pre is all you need for top quality sound from your turntable and other devices. The premium quality headphone amp features 3.5mm and 6.35mm sockets, making it compatible with all types of single-ended headphone cables.
The perfect match for Suzi and Hugo products
Although a brilliant device in its own right, the Suzi Pre gets even better when added to a matching Chord Electronics device. Pair with the Suzi Amp for powerful sound from your speakers. Add a Hugo 2 DAC and a 2go streamer and you gain another level of functionality, with a super-compact system that’s able to span digital and analogue domains – in style.
