Previously found on Dan Clark Audio’s range-topping headphones, AMTS (Acoustic Metamaterial Tuning System) uses advanced metamaterial design concepts to eliminate high-frequency standing waves. These can cause harshness and lack of detail at the top-end of the frequency response, so once controlled, you get a smoother and less fatiguing treble response.
Expansive sound that suits all genres of music
As well as being smooth and fatigue-free, the NOIRE X headphones deliver a truly expansive and punchy sound that’s a signature from the company’s planar headphones. The highly optimised V-Planar drivers deliver punchy, low distortion bass for a lifelike response with all music genres.
Wide choice of cables, including balanced and single-ended
As standard, the NOIRE X headphones are supplied with a DUMMER connection cable. This robust and well shielded cable comes fitted with a choice of 3.5mm (with 6.35mm adapter) single-ended or balanced 4.4mm plugs. Upgrade to the premium VIVO cable and you get a premium cable with silver-plated conductors for optimal sound. The VIVO cable is very supple and non-microphonic, making it the ideal choice for music on the move. Available with 6.35mm, 4.4mm or XLR-4 connections and in various lengths, it makes the optimal cable for these headphones.
