Your choice of 9-channel surround sound
With no fewer than nine powered channels, the Denon AVC-X3800H gives you a wide choice of speaker configurations. Choose between 7.4.2 or 5.4.4 Dolby Atmos speaker configurations with two or four ceiling speakers. Alternatively, stick with 5.4.2 and power a second pair of speakers in another room or bi-amp your main pair of speakers. As your system grows, so the capability of this Denon AVC grows with it.
Upgrade to 11-channel surround
Add an extra stereo power amp and the Denon lets you configure four ceiling or Atmos-enabled speakers as well as full 7-channel surround sound. Alternatively, use two Atmos speakers and enjoy a broad soundstage with 'front wide speakers' forming a 9.2.2 system. If you don't fancy a Dolby Atmos specific system but want the most immersive sound possible, go for an 11.2 configuration. This offers 7.2 sound with the addition of front width and front height speakers.
Connect up to four subwoofers for balanced bass around the room
For the best-balanced bass, the AVC-X3800H has four passive subwoofer outputs. This lets you place a subwoofer in each corner of the room, giving a smooth, even bass response. With four bass channels, you can also use smaller subwoofers. This gives you a tighter, punchier bass whilst not losing out on any bass weight and depth.
Your choice of immersive 3D sound
Whatever speaker configuration you decide upon, the AVC-X3800H has a surround format to suit. Compatible formats include Dolby Atmos, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization Technology, DTS:X, DTS Virtual:X, IMAX Enhanced, Auro-3D and Auro-Matic upmixing. This huge range of options means you can adapt your surround sound speaker system from the simplest system with ‘virtual height’ speakers to full-blown 11.4 systems that truly bring the cinema home.
Dirac Live set-up
For the very best sound in your room, Denon is set to offer powerful room correcting technology from Dirac Research. This uses a microphone and dedicated software to take multiple readings around your room and feed the information back to the amplifier for a completely bespoke response (professional set-up recommended).
*Extra cost, optional upgrade available with future SW update.
Audyssey MultEQ XT32 for simple room set-up
Featuring Audyssey's high-end MultEQ XT32 technology, the AVC-X3800H adapts itself to your room's acoustics. The XT32 version of this automatic measuring and set-up device features include Audyssey Dynamic Volume, Dynamic EQ, LFC and SubEQ HT for total control. If you want to take this even further, purchase the MultEQ Editor App (at additional cost) and you've access to advanced user settings.
Dual speaker preset memory
For sound tailored to your content, you can store two speaker and Audyssey settings and switch between them. Ideal for switching between a ‘gaming’ and ‘movie’ set-up, for example, the presets include Amp Assign, Speaker Config, Distances, Levels, Crossovers, Bass, Front Speaker, 2ch Playback and Graphic EQ (when Audyssey is not used).
8K, HDCP 2.3 full HDMI interface
Upgrading on previous AVCX3000-series amps, the X3800 now features a complete 8K compatible HDMI interface. Whereas just a single HDMI input was 8K compatible, now all six inputs are 8K ready. Two of the three outputs are 8K compatible, too. They support 8K pass-through, 4K/120Hz and 8K upscaling of 4K content, too. The X3800 also supports the latest copy protection standard, HDCP 2.3.
Wide-ranging HDR support
The AVC-X3800H also supports a wide range of High Dynamic Range video formats. These include Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. It also supports HDR10+, which enhances picture realism by sending dynamic Meta data to your TV, as well as Dynamic HDR. In short, whatever the format used by the film, game or stream, the Denon supports it.
Brilliant for gamers
The enhanced HDMI interface makes this Denon AV amp the perfect choice for gaming. All HDMI inputs support 4K/120Hz and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) for the best resolution and clarity. Quick Frame Transport (QFT) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) help eliminate lag and frame tearing, giving you a smoother, more responsive gaming experience.

Up to 32 HEOS units can be set up at one time, ensuring even the largest of homes are covered for multi-room music. With HEOS already built-in, the AVC-X3800H is ready to go as a single 'zone' without any further adaptors.

”Delivering a clean, refined and detailed sound, Bowers and Wilkins' entry-level speakers are simply superb.” ’What Hi-Fi?’ 2023 Product of the Year.
Smaller speaker that thinks big
As the most compact model in the 600 Series S3 range, the Bowers & Wilkins 607 S3 makes the ideal choice for use in smaller rooms or as a desktop monitor speaker. For a high quality home cinema set-up, match up with 600 Series S3 centre, front and subwoofer speakers and enjoy an outstanding speaker system. The speakers are easy to position and work well with a wide range of components. The latest models now come with threaded bases, giving a secure connection to the matching (optional) FS-600 S3 stands.
The best just keeps getting better
For around 30 years, Bowers & Wilkins 600 Series speakers have been at the top of their class. Even before the latest S3 speakers were announced, the previous version were still considered amongst the best in their category. With technology derived from the 700 Series, however, the latest 600 Series S3 speakers move the game on to an entirely new level.
Titanium tweeter for scintillating treble detail
Featuring an all-new titanium domed tweeter, the 607 S3 takes a big step up in top-end detail and refinement. Using materials and technologies from the 700 Series, the more advanced driver teases out detail that could easily be missed with other speakers. Using a tube-loading system, the tweeter is further isolated from cabinet resonances, reducing distortion to vanishingly low levels.
Continuum mid-range cone for incredible realism
First developed for Bowers & Wilkins’ flagship 800 Series, the Continuum woofer design shows exceptional ability for this class of speaker. Improvements to the S3 include a more powerful, lower distortion motor assembly. This further enhances the already impressive vocal response and helps keep the bass timing fast-paced and rhythmic.
Better on the inside, still handsome on the outside
The 607 S3’s sleek good looks remain largely as before, but inside the cabinet there’s been extensive improvements. Upgraded electronics promote a more transparent and open sound, while the cabinet itself has a new bass port design and is stiffer, both of which reduce resonance.
Choose your finish
Always one of the more attractive speakers in its class, Bowers & Wilkins didn’t need to change the timeless style. All that’s left is for you to choose between one of three distinct finishes. Matte black is the classic choice with the all-white version providing a lighter option. For a more traditional style, go for the oak finish with light baffle.

Enjoy B&W award-winning bass from a smaller sub, with the Bowers & Wilkins ASW608.
Punchy bass
It might be Bowers & Wilkins smallest sub, but that doesn’t stop the ASW608 from hitting hard. The 8 inch woofer has the power to drop to frequencies well below many floorstanding speakers – opening up a whole new level of sound you can feel. Epic soundtracks now have the scale they deserve and music has a more dynamic and life-like sound.
Controlled sound
With its 200 watt amplifier, the ASW608 keeps a tight rein on the bass. The hybrid paper/Aramid cone is also ultra-stiff for exceptional accuracy. Combined with its powerful magnet, this means the bass remains tight, responsive and doesn’t wallow as inferior subs can. Give it the right material, though, and the long throw woofer demonstrates bass power to rattle the windows.
Big power from a super-compact cabinet
Delivering big power is easier with a larger cabinet to help contain the forces. Bowers & Wilkins have taken a more difficult route with the ASW608. Forceful internal pressure is counteracted by extremely thick cabinet walls and exceptional rigidity. It’s not a cheap solution but it means the ASW608 retains its high power output while remaining compact enough for small to medium-sized rooms.
Fully adjustable
For sound that’s perfectly tailored to your room, the ASW608 offers a wide range of adjustments. As well as the usual volume and low-pass frequency adjustments, three-stage bass extension and EQ switches give you the perfect amount of bass for your room size, subwoofer position and personal taste. If the subwoofer is positioned behind you, simply select the phase switch for smoothly integrated bass.
