The Emotiva BasX A1 is a mono black power amp of exceptional value, ability and flexibility. Use it with a pre-amp or surround pre-amp processor and enjoy superb value, powerful sound. It also works seamlessly with other BasX amps, making it the ideal ‘add-on’ in a home cinema system. If, for example, you already have an A5 or A7 but want to add another channel of sound, then simply add the A1 for consistent sound all around the room.

Using a tried and tested Class A/B amplifier, the Emotiva BasX A1 delivers smooth and consistent sound. With an impressive 200 watts per channel at 8 ohms or 325 watts per channel into a 4 ohm speaker, this power amp has plenty of grunt to deal with any speaker.
Purity to match the power
Unlike some, digital only, power amps, the BasX A1 utilises an analogue Class A/B amplifier stage. This preserves the music’s emotion and ‘flow’ in a way that many digital amps struggle to convey. Designed with high current capacity and short signal paths, it promotes a highly dynamic, low distortion sound.
Quality connections
At the back of the BasX A1 you’ll find high quality connections for both input and speaker output. Heavy duty, insulted and gold-plated speaker sockets accept thicker cables and 4mm banana plugs. The input is handled by a universally accepted RCA phono which is, again, gold-plated for low resistance.
Sturdy build quality
