Immersive, 9-channel sound With no fewer than nine powered channels, the Emotiva BasX MR1L gives you a wide choice of speaker configurations. Choose between 7.2.2 or 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos speaker configurations with two or four ceiling speakers.
Take it to the next level - 13-channel processing If you’ve got a larger room or simply want the next level in enveloping sound, connect an additional stereo power amp and enjoy the added immersion of 13-channel sound processing. This facilitates a 9.2.4 system, with four ceiling speakers and front width speakers combined. Alternatively, configure as a 7.2.6 system with six ceiling speakers – ideal for larger rooms.
Power aplenty Using an audiophile grade Class A/B amplifier, the Emotiva BasX MR1L delivers smooth and consistent sound. With an impressive 85 watts per channel (all channels driven), the BasX MR1L has the power to make the most of your home cinema speaker package in all but the very largest rooms. Use in stereo mode and the power increases to a mighty 150 watts per channel at 8 ohms or 220 watts per channel into a 4 ohm speaker.
Purity to match the power Unlike some, digital only, power amps, the BasX MR1L utilises an analogue Class A/B amplifier stage. This preserves the audio’s emotion and ‘flow’ in a way that many digital amps struggle to convey. Designed with high current capacity and short signal paths, it promotes a highly dynamic, low distortion sound.
Enjoy fully-immersive sound, with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X Bringing the cinema home, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoders provide truly immersive sound through ceiling or up-firing speakers. The BasX MR1L offers both systems, as well as DTS Neural:X for upmixed sound from non DTS:X source material.
Advanced EMO-Q automatic room correction For optimised sound in your room, the BasX MR1L features Emotiva’s advanced EMP-Q Automatic Room Correction System. This includes a visual display that shows both the measured and corrected room response. With individual channel control, you can fine-tune the sound to perfection.
Wide-ranging connectivity Featuring six HDMI inputs and two outputs, the BasX MR1L easily handles most AV systems. The HDMI2.0b sockets are compatible with HDCP2.2, making it suitable for use with the latest TVs, 4K HDR and Dolby Vision sources. Four digital and four analogue inputs are ample for a wide range of audio components – such as CD, streamer and pre-amp equipped turntable. There is also a USB input that’s ideal for connecting your PC or laptop.
