The most immersive sound
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X take home cinema sound to a new dimension and bring the true sound of cinema home. The JBL MA710 combines this with a powerful, 7.2 channel amplifier, ensuring that the sound is every bit as dynamic as it is enveloping. This mid-range JBL AVR is also equipped with an extensive range of sockets. From six HDMIs to a turntable input, it has everything you need to connect your entire system.
7-channel surround sound for next level performance
Featuring 7.2 channel surround sound, the JBL MA710 takes a step-up in sound immersion. Upgrading to 7-channels introduces a whole new range of options. Add height speakers to a 5.2 system for sound that is more expansive or, even better, use the two extra channels for ceiling speakers and create a Dolby Atmos / DTS:X, 5.2.2 system with three-dimensional sound.
Experience the immersion of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X use ceiling or up-firing speakers for three-dimensional and fully immersive sound. Whether it’s rain falling in a tropical jungle or the intense sound of overhead gunfire, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X put you in the centre of the action.
8K compatible HDMI inputs and eARC
Featuring three, dedicated 8K compliant HDMI inputs, this JBL AVR is ready for the next generation of TV and gaming. As part of the HDMI interface support, eARC is now also standard. This enables uncompressed audio transmission from your TV, back to the receiver. HDMI eARC is ideal for getting the best audio from any smart TV apps and services you may use.
Great for gamers
The HDMI 2.1 support also makes the MA710 ideal for connecting your games console. 4K/120Hz and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support help maximise resolution and clarity. Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) eliminates lag and frame tearing, giving you a smoother, more responsive gaming experience.
Supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+
The enhanced HDMI interface also goes on to support a wider range of HDR (High Dynamic Range) video formats. These include Dolby Vision and HDR10+, which enhance picture realism by sending dynamic Meta data to your TV. In short, whether your content uses Dolby or HDR encoding, the MA710 has you covered.
Punchy, digital amplification
Featuring fully digital amplification, the MA710 runs cool and is energy efficient. With 110 watts power output, it has ample drive for medium-sized to larger rooms and easily has the power to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Bluetooth aptX Adaptive, AirPlay 2, and Google Chromecast for the complete networking experience
With both AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast connectivity it's easy to connect all your smartphones, tablets and compatible lap/desktops and stream music wirelessly. Working across Apple and Android systems, the built-in wi-fi ensures easy access to a vast range of music streaming. Alternatively, pair your device by Bluetooth and enjoy enhanced sound quality that’s Hi-Res compatible when used with Qualcomm aptX HD or aptX Adaptive.
Connect it all – including a turntable
For compatibility with all your AV sources, the JBL has six HDMI inputs (three of which are HDMI 2.1). You can also connect a wide range of hi-fi sources, such as a CD player and network music streamer via the digital optical, coaxial and analogue inputs. With a dedicated MM phono input, you can even plug in a turntable, without the need for an additional phono pre-amp.

Engineered to the highest standards, the KEF Q1 Meta speakers punch beyond their compact size.
The small speaker that makes a big impression
Compact in size but bursting with ability, the KEF Q1 Meta speakers are perfect for when you want speakers with musical talent without the bulk of larger cabinets. They’re ideal for stereo sound in smaller rooms, or as desktop monitors for close-up listening. As part of the expansive Q-series range, they also make ideal surround speakers within a fully matched Q-series home cinema speaker set.
Hear the sound, just as it should be, with MAT
Developed in conjunction with Acoustic Metamaterials Group, the Q-series Meta range makes use of an exciting technology called MAT (Metamaterial Absorption Technology). The revolutionary material absorbs 99% of unwanted sound from the rear of the tweeter, for lower distortion and a much purer, more natural sound.
Legendary Uni-Q drive units deliver studio quality sound
KEF’s history includes making some of the most precise-sounding monitor speakers available. Used in recording studios around the world, KEF-branded speakers and other brands using KEF drive units are behind so many classic mixes. Now in its 12th generation, the Uni-Q driver array places the revised tweeter within the middle of the woofer, creating a more cohesive sound. The aluminium woofer is light and rigid – making it fast to respond and entirely faithful to the music playing.
Shadow Flare for enhanced top-end clarity
Derived from KEF’s top-end models, Shadow Flare is a further upgrade for the Q-series speakers. Shadow Flare is a finely engineered surface that extends the waveguide effect of the Uni-Q driver array. Minimising the acoustic impact of ‘stray’ soundwaves, it improves clarity and reproduction of delicate details. Subtle nuances, such as the delicate brushwork on cymbals or the intricate overtones of a piano, are clearer than ever with this technology.
Choice of sleek satin finish
KEF’s Q-series speakers feature a minimalist design for timeless appeal. Supplied with magnetically attached, colour-matched grilles, the style is crisp and clean whether the grilles are on or off. For the best match for your décor, the speakers are available in Satin Black, Satin White and Walnut finishes.

Stylish and room-friendly, but with ample bass to add drama to any soundtrack, the REL HT1003 MKII is a masterful subwoofer.
Twice as loud as before
The original HT/1003 was certainly no slouch in the impact department, but the new REL HT/1003 MKII now delivers sound that’s up to twice as loud. Featuring a new CarbonGlas 10 inch woofer and a much-improved 300 watt amplifier, the MKII version optimises its hardware for greater slam with less distortion. With its appetite for powerful dynamics, this ‘baby’ REL brings a heightened realism to everything from action movies to shoot ‘em up gaming.
Power with control
Although the HT/1003 MKII goes deep and loud it doesn’t do this at the expense of sound quality. The sub uses an array of PerfectFilters and a rigid cabinet to produce a low distortion, highly realistic bass. This means that a bass guitar, for example, actually sound like the real thing, rather than just a one-note bass sound. REL’s PerfectFilters include an analogue subsonic filter that minimises the effect of soundtrack infra-noise. This helps push the distortion threshold higher, maximising the bass unit’s performance.
Optional HT-Air* for wireless connectivity
If you’d like to cut out the cable, then check out REL’s industry-leading HT-Air wireless system. Unlike other wireless subs, the HT-Air uses a unique, zero compression, system developed exclusively by REL. Using a state-of-the-art chipset, the HT-Air wireless transmitter offers flawless signal quality with zero compression. Delivering a latency (lag) figure of just 16-20 milliseconds, it’s hugely superior to the more common Bluetooth method of wireless connection. Put simply, the bass keeps up and stays in time with the action.

Surprisingly stylish
Rarely known for their good looks, subwoofers are often the least attractive and most difficult to accommodate home cinema components. The REL HT/1003 MKII seeks to change that. Rounded edges and elegant feet reduce visual bulk, making this subwoofer harmonise with your interior better than most. The black textured finish has an aluminium look which contrasts with the sleek gloss top plate. Considering its 10 inch bass driver, the sub is relatively compact, too.
Adjust to suit your room
A selection of controls, handily labelled to be read from above, make it easy to fine-tune the REL to your room. The level control establishes the volume while the Crossover control gives seamless integration with your existing speakers. If your room dictates that the sub is positioned behind you, then simply flick the phase switch and the sub corrects the sound to match your other speakers. If it’s tucked out of sight, then use the Auto power function for hands-free power-up.
Hear the bottom end that you’ve been missing out on, with the REL HT/1003 MKII.
