This Lithe Audio speaker is an in-ceiling speaker with a difference. Attached to the rear is an amplifier and Bluetooth receiver, making it just as convenient as any regular Bluetooth speaker. Stream straight from any audio app, such as Apple Music, Spotify or Amazon Music. Alternatively, hardwire a connection, such as a CD player or turntable with pre-amp.
IP44 rated for steamy rooms
The IP44 rating means this speaker is ideal for use in bathrooms, kitchens and pool rooms. The water resistant design means the speaker is much longer-lasting than conventional speakers. Please note, although this speaker is designated IP44, it should not be positioned directly above a bath, sink, shower or pool.
Excellent sound quality
With its two-way design, this Lithe speaker matches a 6.5” bass cone to a titanium tweeter. This gives you a wide frequency response, meaning you get to hear everything, form a thundering bass drum to sparkling percussion at the top end. The built-in 50 watt amplifier makes this speaker ideal for small to medium-sized rooms.
One becomes two
For a wider spread of sound in your room, simply connect a second (passive) speaker, using standard speaker cable. The Lithe Bluetooth speaker powers the passive speaker, meaning there’s no extra mains cable wiring required.

Bluetooth connectivity makes this ceiling speaker near universal in terms of connectivity. Desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones pretty much all have Bluetooth connectivity these days, meaning you can connect to a huge range of sources.
