Watch, record and catch-up
The Manhattan T3R meets all your TV needs in a single box. As well as getting access to all the 85 Freeview channels, you can also record your favourite programmes on the capacious 500GB hard drive. Alternatively, enjoy TV on demand from the BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, UKTV Play, My5 and many others.
Freeview Play – catch-up TV made easy
Connect the box to your Internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet and you can enhance your TV viewing with effortless catch-up TV. Catching up on programmes you've missed is easy - simply use the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) to 'scroll' back on the last seven days TV programmes. With support for the BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub*, All 4 and My5, the great majority of the last seven days’ worth of TV are just a scroll away (requires broadband Internet connection with a minimum speed of 2Mbps). *ITV Hub is available in England, Wales and The Channel Islands.
YouTube on your TV
Supporting YouTube and YouTube kids, you can now watch one of the most popular video services on your TV – beats crowding around a tablet or laptop.
Record up to 300 hours of TV
With its built-in 500GB hard drive, the T3R stores up to 300 hours of TV. Perfect for recording series and watching in your own time or for recording all your favourite programmes while you’re away. Unlike catch-up TV, once you’ve recorded a programme, there’s no time limit on how long you’ve got to watch it.
Rewind and pause live TV and record two programmes at once
Featuring twin tuners, the T3R has the ability to pause and rewind live TV – perfect if you miss a crucial moment while you’ve just popped out of the room. A further benefit is being able to record two programmes at once – ideal for those times when all the good TV is on at the same time.
Ultra HD and HDR support for ultimate picture quality
Compatible with Ultra HD (4K) and HDR, the Manhattan makes the perfect match for the latest TVs and high quality streaming services.
Easy to use
The Electronic Programme Guide makes watching TV, past and present, easy. The T3R’s remote is programmable to learn your TV’s volume, power and input settings, meaning you just need the one remote for everyday TV watching.
Make keeping track of all your favourite TV a pleasure again, with the Manhattan T3R.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Artlister from So good I bought 2! I bought one of these 2months ago to replace a Panasonic recorder and DVD player which to be fair had a nicer interface but the Manhattan is much faster moving through the menus and has the free view channels built in so is really good, so good in fact I’ve just bought another for a TV in another room and record everything on the 2 machines so can watch in either room BOOM !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by GB44 from Welcome Simplicity Bought to replace Sky box. Simple to set up on second tv and works well with clear onscreen graphics and info. Still to link with main tv controls but not anticipating any problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bilbo Baggins from Simple to use and reliable I bought this to replace a BT recorder as BT had increased their basic TV package to £10 a month. It will have paid for itself in 18 months and I have a 6 year guarantee. Not a difficult decision. I worried about how easy it would be to use. It is much easier than the BT box. Unlike the BT box you can recover something you accidentally erase. Unlike the BT bos it will also connect to the web via ethernet or wifi. Recordings of individual programs and series can be scheduled from the program guide. Recordings can be seen as one list or broken down into series, movies and trashed recordings to recover. There is also a list of all scheduled recordings which have not taken place yet. There is a digital sound output but I connect my soundbar through the TV because I watch live programs using the TV tuner. There is also an aerial pass through for the TV which is switched off by default to save power. You can easily turn this on but I prefer to use a 2 way booster instead. I already had one as the BT box was not reliable on passthrough to the TV. One thing I would like is to see a visual confirmation (eg. a light) while recordings are in progress but the recorder is reliable so that is just a peace of mind issue. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking to record freeview. The value is 4 star as I found the product more cheaply elsewhere but I decided to buy from Richer Sounds because of their high level of service and extended guarantee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Excellent product I needed to purchase a replacement to my Humax and had settled on a Manhattan. The The Deputy Manager was extremely helpful in guiding me to my chosen product which he demonstrated. The Manhattan T3R 500GB has provided far more functionality than my original model and is an excellent product.
