The perfect partner for the AV 30
For optimal performance, the Marantz AMP 30 is designed to partner the AV 30. The AV 30 processor was developed together with the AMP 30, meaning that they have a harmonious sonic signature when used together. They also create a substantial visual impact, especially with distinguishing highlights including, front panel illumination, ‘porthole’ displays and distinctive metal finishes. For conventional 5.1 channel surround sound, pair with a single AMP 30. For next level surround, including Dolby Atmos, use two AMP 30s to optimise the AV 30’s full 11.4 channel potential.

At 200 watts per channel, this reference home cinema amp has power to spare. With this level of clout, you don’t need to worry about using inefficient speakers or whether or not the amp has sufficient dynamic headroom to do justice to intense action movies – it does. With its illuminated display, you can even see the power in action.

Switch the AMP 30 to BTL mode and you can double the power to a mighty 400 watts per channel, across three channels. Ideal as a future home cinema upgrade, when you’re ready to give your existing system a serious power boost, simply add another one (or two) AMP 30s and enjoy truly cinematic dynamics and immense control.
Balanced connections
Around the back of this power amp, you’ll find the space full of handy connection sockets. For studio-grade connectivity, wire up to your AV processor via the balanced XLR sockets. These not only give a secure ‘locked in’ connection but also reduce potential interference, especially over longer cable runs. Regular RCA phonos are also available, giving this power amp near-universal compatibility. For home automation integration, there’s a handy range of additional sockets, including RS-232C, DC control in/out and IR input. If the power amp is going to be tucked out of sight, the auto-standby function is a handy feature.
