Support for Dolby Atmos for overhead effects
With support for Dolby Atmos you get more of the cinema sound in your home. Dolby Atmos delivers a more enveloping sound by creating the impression of the sound coming from above – perfect for feeling the full effect of a thunderstorm or aircraft flying overhead.
Dedicated centre channel for crystal-clear sound
As well as the usual left and right speaker channels, the TAB8805/10 also features a dedicated centre channel. This is designed to ‘anchor’ speech to the centre of your TV’s screen, making it sound much clearer and easier to follow.
Separate subwoofer
Just as vocals sound better when they have their own speakers, so does bass. Using a separate subwoofer gives the TAB8805/10 the power to do justice to action movies and stadium music. Now you won’t just hear the bass but feel it when the action hots up. Wireless connectivity means the subwoofer doesn’t have to be placed near the soundbar – it can just as easily be placed the other side of the room.
Google Chromecast, AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth, for the complete networking experience

Download the free app from the Apple Store (iOS), Google Play (Android), Kindle Fire or for your Windows PC and get started on streaming all your favourite music. You not only get access to Internet radio but also popular music apps such as Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music and Napster. It’s all here, for near limitless music.
Works with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri voice assistants
Compatible (not built-in) with Amazon and Google voice assistants, the TAB8805/10 integrates with your voice-operated household. If you prefer to use the Apple system, AirPlay 2 compatibility facilitates the use of Siri, too.
Full HDMI connectivity
With twin HDMI inputs and an output, the TAB8805/10 easily connects to your home entertainment system. Plug in your games console and Blu-ray player and route them through to the Philips for the best sound. The Philips passes through 4K video signals, meaning you don’t have to use separate connections to the TV. Digital optical and analogue 3.5mm inputs for other sources are also included.
