Stunning in style and sound, the Pro-Ject 6Perspex Balanced UK SuperPack comes fully equipped with everything you need for superb sound quality. The suspended design with Perspex plinth isolates the deck which, when combined with the balanced output, helps to deliver the lowest levels of distortion and the most detailed sound. Supplied with a high-end tonearm and cartridge, this deck isn’t simply ‘ready to go’, it’s ready to excel.
Magnetic-suspended design
The Pro-Ject 6Perspex Balanced uses a suspended chassis for the ultimate in isolation. Where this design differs from others is in the use of magnetic suspension rather than the more traditional springs. For the ultimate in rigidity and damping, the sub-chassis is made from Corian.
Stylish Acrylic plinth
Featuring a smart acrylic plinth, the 6Perspex Balanced not only looks good, it also offers excellent damping and anti-resonance for low distortion and excellent sonic detail. The plinth is fitted with height-adjustable aluminium cone feet. These also feature isolation pads, further reducing the chance of mechanical interference.
Resonance optimised platter
The unique platter fitted to the 6 Perspex uses a special sandwich construction. With a layer of MDF at its base, topped by a 4mm layer of ground vinyl it gives your record the perfect mechanical interface with the platter. To aid dynamics and detail, a screw down clamp is also fitted as standard.
True Balanced Connection for the purest sound
The 6Perspex benefits from a True Balanced Connection. The balanced output uses a mini-XLR socket* to create a studio-quality link when used with a suitable phono pre-amp (compatible models include Pro-Ject Phono Box S3 B and Phono Box DS3 B). A balanced connection resists noise from wi-fi, Bluetooth and other airborne interference, giving you a much purer and less distorted sound.

Balanced-ready Pick it MC3 cartridge
For optimal sound, whether playing in balanced or non-balanced modes, the 6Perspex UK SuperPack is supplied with a Pick it MC3 cartridge. This Moving Coil cartridge comes pre-installed and delivers a powerful, dynamic sound with the effortless flow that MC cartridges are renowned for.
9CC EVO HG Evolution carbon fibre tonearm
Supplied with a super stiff and lightweight tonearm, the cartridge enjoys the best support possible, letting it track the vinyls’ grooves accurately. The upgraded tonearm uses an inverted cardan bearing with top quality components for smooth tracking. A wide range of adjustments, including VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle) and azimuth, give plenty of opportunity for fine-tuning the sound.
