Precise tracking weight adjustment Setting a cartridge’s tracking weight by hand can lead to inaccurate settings, placing too much or too little weight on the stylus. For optimal weight and therefore optimal sound quality, an electronic stylus balance is ideal. The Pro-Ject Measure it E is ideal, measuring stylus tracking forces up to 5 grammes, in 0.01 gramme increments.
Easy to use Using the Measure it is easy. Simply remove the dust guard and place the stylus on the measuring pad. The weight is then shown on the backlight display, to 0.01g accuracy. So you can be sure of the gauge’s ongoing accuracy, a calibration weight is included. A protective pouch for safe storage is also provided.
