The PS Audio is a small amp with a big personality. Designed for those who are downsizing from full-size separates, just starting off on the hi-fi journey or who simply want a quality system in another room. The small size makes it ideal as a desktop amp for your office or in a secondary room, such as a bedroom system.
Just the basics but everything you need – from Bluetooth to vinyl
From Bluetooth to vinyl, the Sprout 100 has you covered. For wireless streaming from your smartphone or tablet, simply pair via Bluetooth. Once done you’ll be able to stream your stored music or streaming music services, such as Spotify and Apple Music. The vinyl input accepts a Moving Magnet cartridge-equipped turntable, making it ideal for the majority of decks.
Digital inputs
With a quality ESS Sabre DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) on board, the Sprout 100 also makes the perfect partner for your PC, TV, CD, games console or any other source with a digital output. The USB-B interface gives the best connection to your PC or laptop – letting you stream music files right up to 24-bit/384kHz (PCM) and DSD128. The optical input is perfect for your TV, CD or games console.
Analogue in and out
With an analogue input/output connection, you can wire up older, analogue recording equipment. If you’ve got a treasured cassette deck or reel-to-reel, this amp will happily accept it, too.
Powerful sound
It might be small in size, but with the 2 x 50 watt amp, the Sprout 100 easily matches many full size amps for power. This means that you’re not limited in your choice of speakers – even low sensitivity designs are easily powered by the Sprout 100. With its passive subwoofer output, you can even add your choice of active sub.
