Unlike passive mains filters, the PS Audio Stellar PowerPlant 3 is an active power regenerator that delivers the highest quality and purest power to your cherished hi-fi or AV components. Mains issues such as power surges, low voltage, distorted waveforms and other noise issues are eliminated. This gives you peace of mind that your components are safe and free from potentially damaging mains power issues.
Enhanced sound quality
As well as protecting your components, the PowerPlant 3 enhances the sound quality. With a pure, consistent power supply you get less background noise, increased detail, superior dynamics and a more open sound.
Ideal for smaller systems or single sources
With 300 watts continuous output, the P3 is ideal for source components or a low input amplifier (usually Class D). Four output sockets lets multiple sources benefit. You could, for example, connect a turntable, CD player, network streamer and phono stage. With two of the outputs, you also have the option of switching to filtered rather than regenerated output. This gives you the option of using the other two sockets for higher powered devices, such as amplifiers, while still getting some benefit from filtered mains with two other components.
