As a transport only, the Attessa CD Transport comes without a built-in DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor). This not only saves you money but also gives you the freedom to choose your own DAC or partner the CD transport with a digital amp, such as the matching Roksan Attessa amplifiers.
Short signal path for low jitter
Minimising the length of the signal from the laser means there’s less space and time for the signal to denigrate. This means lower levels of jitter for a smoother, less distorted sound. Less distortion means more detail and a more natural, lifelike sound quality.
