The Teenage Engineering OB-4 is a radio, Bluetooth speaker and something more. As well the usual Bluetooth, FM radio and line inputs, it has a disk mode that selects one of three unique soundscapes. It also memorises your listening, letting you scroll back and listen again via the two-hour continual loop recording. With its high efficiency, Bluetooth connection, the OB4 makes a practical Bluetooth speaker. Alternatively, the FM radio provides a high quality audio source that’s readily available and long lasting (up to 72 hours battery life against 8 hours when using Bluetooth).

If you’re in the mood for something different, switch to disk mode. This gives three different soundscapes, each designed to soothe, enlighten and inspire your day. ‘Ambient’ lets you zone out, ‘Metronome’ provides a reassuring beat to life while ‘Karma’ delivers a more spiritual sound that’s the ideal accompaniment to yoga or other mindfulness techniques.
