Furniture not art Unlike many racks, the FW1100 looks like a piece of quality furniture rather than modern art sculpture! Complementing the real wood veneer frame are tinted black glass shelves that match the gloss black finish of most contemporary TVs. At the back a cable management system keeps the look uncluttered and smooth.
Practical too Although something of a looker, the Alphason FW1100 is also extremely practical. The top shelf will hold a very substantial 80kg - enough for even the heaviest 50" plasma TVs. The other shelves will each take 50kg, which is ample for the most esoteric of home cinema equipment.

Neat elegant design, deep walnut charming curveTook some 30 minutes to screw the side panel and place the three black glass shelves. I chose a narrow for the Blue ray and media box and the wider shelf for the audio suround amplifier. The side panel sturdy, chundy and verveee elegantly in deep walnut to contrast the dark beautyfuly polish glass shelves. The television rest graciously on the top beautyfully polish and heavy glass shelf. The whole cabinet structure is meticulous in construction and sits firmly, confidently on the floor with some stout plastic feet under the side panel. Everything fitted well and provided reasurance that my equipment on on a solid stable cabinet to complement the style and elegance of furniture in my lounge. The television rest graciously

Stylish and practicalI already have a similar alphason unit in another room and purchased this one to go with a new TV and amplifier. It arrived promptly and was easy to assemble. There are two options in terms of shelf heights enabling me to put larger items at the bottom and make connections easily accessible. The open design helps prevent overheating or obstruction to remote control signals. Overall a good bit of furniture.

Good Value StandTakes a 55 inch OLED with ease. Top Shelf is adjustable to take full size centre speakers such as Q Acoustics 3090. Bottom shelf takes full width AVR and Blu-ray player too with Sky Q Box on top. Overall quality is very good. Make sure though you are happy with the stand height. It is fine for me and would suit most people but it is a little lower . Highly recommended
