Ideal as a first or second home cinema receiver upgrade, the Arcam AVA15 has the company’s legendary sound quality and ample power for dynamic and thrilling sound. With all nine channels driven, its Class D amplifier delivers 75 watts per channel (at 8 ohms) – enough for fully immersive sound in medium-sized rooms with average efficiency speakers. Switch to stereo mode and the power increases to an impressive 100 watts per channel (8 ohms).
Your choice of surround sound configuration
Featuring nine powered channels, the AVA15 gives you a wide choice of speaker configurations. Choose between 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos speaker configurations with two or four ceiling speakers. Alternatively, stick with 5.1.2 and power a second pair of speakers in another room or bi-amp your main pair of speakers. As your system grows, so the capability of this Arcam AVA grows with it.
Processing for up to 12 channels for even more immersive sound
For a higher level of sound immersion, this Arcam AVR offers processing for up to 12 channels. Add additional power amp(s) and you’ll be able to decode Dolby Atmos and DTS:X signals, right up to 7.1.4 – enough to feel fully immersed by the sound in all but the largest spaces. For the most consistent sound, pair with matching Arcam power amps.
Unique Dirac systems for sound that’s tailored to your room
Dirac Live Room Correction uses sophisticated technology to get the perfect sound for your room. Using a microphone and dedicated software, it takes multiple readings around your room, feeding the information back to the amplifier for a completely bespoke response (professional set-up recommended). You can take Dirac to the next level by upgrading to Dirac Live Bass Control and Dirac Live Active Room Treatment*.

With support for the key digital surround sound systems, the AVA15 lets you choose between the best in cinematic formats. For fully immersive sound, both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are standard. If you’re limited by the number of speakers you can accommodate, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualisation and DTS Virtual:X create the effect of an enveloping sound, without a room full of speakers.
Radia App control for Internet radio and your choice of streaming service
Use app control to access a wide variety of popular music streaming services, including Amazon Music and Qobuz. For even more music, the app lets you access Internet radio stations and podcasts from around the world, opening up near unlimited entertainment. If you want to stream from your own network, the app also facilitates UPnP (Universal Plug n Play) playback from iOS and Android devices.
Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast and all the ‘Connects’
With support for Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast, the AVA15 works equally as well with Apple and Android devices. As well as connecting via AirPlay 2 and Google Cast, the AVA15 also connects directly to Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Qobuz Connect (premium accounts required). This lets you use their dedicated apps and enjoy the full experience from these music streaming market leaders.
Advanced Bluetooth connectivity, including Auracast
Extending wireless Bluetooth connectivity to its limits, the AVA15 features Bluetooth 5.4 with Snapdragon Sound and Auracast compatibility. This means that you can stream lossless audio, wirelessly via Bluetooth from your compatible smartphone, tablet or computer. Auracast facilitates wireless connectivity with compatible headphones and speakers.
Enhanced compatibility for movie fans and gamers
Upgrading on previous Arcam receivers, the AVA15 features seven, 8K compatible HDMI inputs and twin outputs. They support 8K pass-through, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and eARC (Zone 1, Output 1), making them ideal for connecting an 8K TV. As well as suiting 8K TVs, the advanced HDMI 2.1a interface also helps give your gaming a boost. This facilitates a range of features, including 4K/120Hz HDR pass-through for ultra-fast motion. VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) eliminates lag, stutter, and frame-tearing for fluid gameplay. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) optimises latency from source to screen.
