Alternatively, the AM200 EVO is ideal for multiroom applications and powering additional home cinema speaker channels.
Impressive power
With twin power transformers and high quality MKP link capacitors, the Atoll Electronique AM200 EVO delivers 120 watts per channel (at 8 ohms). Able to drive inefficient speakers and to deliver room-filling sound in larger spaces, it’s rare to find this amp wanting for more power. The MOS-FET power transistors ensure punchy and dynamic sound, with the ability to comfortably reach higher volumes.
Sound purity
For the purest and most consistent sound at its price point, the AM200 EVO is constructed from high quality components. Double-sided printed circuit boards with a nickel/gold finish provide a high performance base for the components. The audio stages use discrete components and balanced architecture. Speaker connections are via tellurium copper posts for a long-lasting, low resistance link. The result of this attention to detail is lower distortion and purer, more natural sound.
Monoblock switching for enhanced power
Switch the power amp to mono via an internal switch and the power swells to in excess of 200 watts. Ideal for when you want a power upgrade, or for if you’re simply powering a single channel, such as an AV centre speaker, the mono switch further enhances this amp’s supreme versatility.
