Product Information
Delivering astonishingly vivid and lifelike sound, the Atoll Electronique CD200 EVO breathes new life into your entire CD collection.
Music at its core
Fitted with Burr Brown’s famed PCM1792A DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter), the Atoll Electronique CD200 EVO delivers reference-grade processing. The upshot of this, and the intensively developed power supply, is a soundstage that’s deeper, broader and with more lifelike tonality than ever. With the optional DC200 board, you can take further advantage of the premium 24-bit/192 kHz Burr Brown DAC, transforming the sound from Hi-Res Audio capable source devices.
Iconic Burr Brown DAC for tonal precision
Equipped with Burr Brown’s legendary PCM1792A DAC, the CD200 EVO not only measures better than lower models in the range but also sounds better, too. Reducing distortion to vanishingly low levels, the CD player delivers incredible tonal realism while also offering extended dynamic reach. The DAC is compatible with 24-bit/192 kHz signals meaning that, when fitted with the optional (at additional cost) DC200 board, you can input Hi-Res Audio devices via the digital inputs.
Advanced engineering for improved resolution
With ten, separately regulated power supplies for each audio stage, including a low-noise one for the DAC, the signal remains as pure and undistorted as possible. Twin, uprated power transformers for digital and audio stages further improves the signal quality, further reducing background noise and maximising detail. Double-sided printed circuit boards with a nickel/gold finish provide a high performance base for the discrete components.
Smooth Teac mechanism
Featuring a high quality Teac CD mechanism at its heart, the CD200 EVO delivers smooth and consistent CD playback. Compatible with CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 and WMA-AAC discs, it replays a wide range of CD disc types.
Versatile connectivity
With analogue and digital outputs, the CD200 EVO connects to a wide range of different systems. On the digital side, both optical and coaxial outputs are standard, making it easy to connect to almost any digital amp or upgraded DAC.
Optional digital input board for further enhanced connectivity
Extending the CD player’s versatility, you can option (at additional cost) a digital input board, letting you use the player as a standalone DAC for other sources. The DC200 input board is fitted inside the main unit, adding extra versatility. Featuring coaxial, optical and asynchronous USB-B inputs, it’s ideal for upgrading the sound from your TV, games console, home computer and more.
Supplied with system remote control
Providing system control, the supplied remote lets you command an Atoll Electronique system. As well as controlling the CD player, it also controls a matching amp, tuner and DAC.
Luxury finish
Fronted by an 8mm thick, brushed aluminium facia, the CD200 EVO has a luxurious look and feel. The crisp and clear OLED display is compatible with CD Text for enhanced album and track information.
Super-charge your CD listening experience, with the Atoll Electronique CD200 EVO.
