The Atoll Electronique ST300 Signature is the company’s ultimate music streamer. With its individually powered DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) it produces crisp and dynamic sound from all digital music sources. More than this, it’s also a premium quality pre-amp. With a wide range of analogue and digital inputs, including Bluetooth, it simply needs connecting to a power amp or active speakers. For a studio-grade connection, XLR balanced outputs are fitted.
Analogue engineering at its best
Taking the already impressive ST200 Signature as its basis, the ST300 Signature further improves the audio engineering. The total capacitor capacity goes from 27,000 µF to 69,000 µF. Combined with the ESA Clarity Cap capacitors there are three power transformers. This ensures a strong, consistent supply of power to all the components, helping to reduce distortion and maximise the dynamic response.
Ultimate digital tech
Just as impressive as the analogue tech, the ST300 Signature’s digital processing is equally as well engineered. The Burr Brown PCM1792A DAC has a dedicated power supply, ensuring a clean, uninterrupted current supply. With improved measurements over the ST200 Signature model, it’s even more dynamic sounding, with less background noise.
Suitable for Hi-Res Audio
The ST300 Signature is compatible with a wide range of files, including lossless and Hi-Res Audio. It supports PCM files up to 24-bit/192 kHz and DSD128, with compatible formats including DXD, DSD, flac and MQA.
Support for your favourite music streamer
The ST300 Signature supports a wide range of popular music streaming services, including Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, Qobuz and HighResAudio. The Internet radio system, airable, is also supported. Alternatively, connect to your local network attached drive via DLNA or UPnP protocols and wirelessly stream your own, stored music files.
Connect direct
If you use Spotify, Qobuz or Tidal premium services, the ST300 Signature is compatible with their ‘Connect’ feature (premium account may be required). This lets you use the Spotify, Qobuz or Tidal app to take direct control of the streamer, giving you a seamless experience as you switch between devices.
AirPlay, Roon Ready and more for multiroom potential
The ST300 Signature fits into a wide range of multiroom ecosystems. Compatible with AirPlay, it’s ideal for streaming directly from your Apple devices. It’s also compatible with Roon and Audirvāna audio playback software, letting you incorporate the ST300 Signature into a Hi-Res Audio, multiroom system.
3-way control
For wide ranging control, the ST300 Signature can be navigated via the facia buttons, the supplied remote control or the dedicated Atoll Signature 2 control app. The control buttons provide direct access to volume, as well as menu navigation, supported by the 5” LED colour display. The supplied remote control also operates matching amps and CD players, making it the only remote you need for a complete Atoll system. Finally, the Atoll Signature 2 app is available for iOS and Android and lets you take control of all the streaming functions from the convenience of your smartphone or tablet.
