Audio-Technica have kept the design of the LPW30BK as simple as possible. The manual deck features just a speed control (33/45) and tonearm lift for a clean design and the least distortion. By keeping the design as simple but high quality as possible, the audio signal remains pure, reducing distortion and promoting a smooth, natural sound.
Widely adjustable tonearm
The hydraulically damped tonearm makes using this deck a pleasure. The arm is also widely adjustable – including weight and anti-skating. Along with the detachable headshell, this makes it easy to upgrade the cartridge and fine tune for the best sound possible.
Audio-Technica cartridge supplied
The fitted Audio-Technica AT-VM95C makes an excellent starter cartridge. It features a good quality conical stylus for durability and low wear and tear on your records. With a wide range of upgrade VM95 styli to choose from, it’s also easy to improve the sound – simply by sliding on a new stylus.
Connect to almost any hi-fi – with built-in phono pre-amp
With a phono pre-amp built-in, the AT-LPW30BK connects to almost any hi-fi or speaker system. The phono pre-amp boosts the signal to line level, meaning you can connect it to any device with an AUX input. If you’d rather use your amp’s phono pre-amp, then simply switch off the turntable’s one.

At the heart of this turntable is an anti-resonance, MDF plinth with a classic black, wood effect finish. The timeless design matches your other hi-fi components yet looks sleek and distinctive in its own right.
