Now featuring a solid core conductor, this Chord Company digital cable performs to a higher standard than ever. Using a silver-plated solid core, rather than multi-strand core, reduces resistance and internal interference, promoting a purer and more lifelike sound.
Silver-plated conductors
The Shawline Digital Tuned ARAY is built from PTFE insulated silver-plated conductors and uses a composite shielding material that works over a wide bandwidth and also reduces mechanical noise. The cable is assembled within a dual-layer outer jacket, chosen to further reduce mechanical noise and a protective outer braid is also fitted.
ChorAlloy-plated BNC plug connections
Using a multi-metal plating system, the BNC plugs use ChorAlloy-plated connectors to deliver the low resistance and high conductivity of silver-plating but without the longer term tarnishing issues. This means that you get a long-lasting, low resistance connection.
