Like many of the company’s other components, the HYPERION12th features fully discrete circuitry and a fully balanced implementation. Combined with the Class AB output, this ensures the high purity sound that you’d expect from Denafrips.
Fully discrete, balanced design
Packed full of individual components, the HYPERION12th is a fully discrete, true balanced amplifier. This design ensures signal purity and the lowest possible distortion. As a true balanced design, it requires a balanced input signal from the pre-amp, with Denafrips’s HADES12th making the ideal partner.
Ample power
Featuring a custom-made 300VA power transformer, the HYPERION12th delivers ample current to the amplifier section. No fewer than 18 output capacitors ensure effortless dynamic capabilities, with the current on hand to cope with thunderous crescendos. The Class AB design produces a smooth and natural sound, with power at 80 watts per channel into 8 ohm speakers and 120 wpc into 4 ohms.
