The Emotiva XPA-4 Gen 3 is a 4-channel amp of exceptional power and ability. It’s ideal for adding power for four additional channels to your existing home cinema system – such as four height (Atmos/DTS:X) speakers. It also makes the ideal power amplifier for a high quality multiroom system, powering stereo speakers in two separate zones.
The power to impress
With advances in power supply technology, the XPA-4 Gen3 balances power, quality and cost effectiveness to perfection. Using a regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS), this amp blends traditional Class A/B and Class H technologies for the perfect blend of quality and power. With up to 300 watts per channel (in stereo mode) the main modules deliver crushing power. In 4-channel mode, you get 260 watts per channel.
Purity to match the power
Unlike some, digital only, power amps, the XPA-4 Gen 3 also utilises an analogue Class A/B amplifier stage. This preserves the music’s emotion and ‘flow’ in a way that many digital amps struggle to convey.
Modular construction for upgrade potential
Modular construction means the XPA power amps can be configured from 2 to 14 channels. This not only helps reduce the cost but also lets you upgrade the power amp in the future. Return the amp to Emotiva’s US base and have additional channels installed or higher quality DR (Differential Reference) modules installed, without having to change your amp.
Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA phono inputs for system flexibility
For maximum system flexibility, the XPA-4 Gen 3 comes with both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA phono inputs. For best results, match with an Emotiva processor and use the balanced XLR connections for strong synergy and high levels of resistance to electrical interference. RCA phono inputs and a well-balanced sound, also make this power amp ideal for use with other brands of AV processors.
